A Tribute to Bill Clark

It is with deep sadness that ESS mourns the loss of our President and friend Bill Clark. Bill was a brilliant businessman but more importantly, he was a kind and compassionate leader of every community he belonged to.

Bill worked for Motorola for many years rising to Vice President of Service for the Northeast Division before founding ESS in 1996. As President of ESS, Bill made it a point to know all of his customers and visited many of them personally. Bill was of the opinion that at the heart of every business relationship was a human being and he never failed to make that personal connection. He frequently spent time exchanging stories with his employees and took a genuine interest in every person he met.

As a respected member of the community, Bill understood that the future lies in today’s youth so he served on his town School Board where tomorrow’s great minds are formed. He cherished his wife and two sons and it was not uncommon for Bill to speak of each of them with pride and affection.

A giant of a man, Bill will be sorely missed but never forgotten, and we carry on in his honor.
